The farmer’s hat is red.
Our current espresso blend is a tag team of Arabica beans from Colombia and Brazil — two heavyweights in the coffee world, now working together to make your mornings better.
The Colombian side of things? It’s a Castillo variety, grown by Wilton Benitez (cool name, cooler coffee). It scored an 84 in cupping, which basically means it’s the valedictorian of coffee school. This washed coffee brings smooth milk chocolate vibes with a hint of apple – like a dessert that also wakes you up.
Then there’s Brazil. Simone Carneiro’s Yellow Catuai variety brings the bassline — big, bold, dark flavours from a natural process bean. It scored 80, and it’s not mad about it. It knows it’s bringing the muscle.
Together? These beans are like the coffee version of a buddy cop movie. Sweet meets strong. Clean meets bold. They bicker in the cup but end up solving the case.
No fuss. No drama. Just great coffee. Because good coffee doesn’t need to be complicated — it just needs a red hat and some top-notch beans.
